At Quality Emergency
Services our IICRC certified Microbial Remediation Technicianswill manage every aspect of the mold remediation to your home or
business according to the IICRC industry standards. They
follow strict industry guidelines to assure complete
satisfaction at the completion of the job. A typical mold
remediation project will usually follow this sequence:
Identify and correct the source of
moisture; the best way to prevent mold growth is to keep
materials dry and to dry down as quickly as possible.
After that it is time to set up
containment and establish negative air pressures to the
affected areas. The purpose of pressure differentials
(negative air) is to keep the mold contamination from
spreading throughout the rest of the process.
This is followed by the removal and
disposal of contaminated building materials.
Now its time to begin the physical
removal of the contamination.
To begin we use a four step procedure. 1.
We contain the contamination. 2. We remove the
contamination. 3. The contamination is discarded. 4. We
clean remaining structure.
After the cleaning is complete air
scrubbing will take place. Air scrubbers remove 99.97%
of dry particulate from the air.
We will also inspect your HVAC system for
contamination and provide remediation if necessary.
If the protocol calls for a post
remediation sampling it will be done at this time.
